The Humble Beginnings
In 1971, Brij Mohan Ji set the cornerstone of his jewelry legacy, starting with a modest office in Johri Bazar, Jaipur. As he expanded his reach to Madras, Trichy, Bombay, and Hyderabad, his commitment to quality remained resolute. Brij Mohan Ji's reputation for reliability grew steadily while he dealt with Burmese Ruby and synthetic stones from Trichy.
However, it wasn't just about business for him, it was about values. He believed in honesty, integrity, and delivering on promises. When he introduced gold nose pins and earrings, it wasn't just a product expansion. It was a glimpse into his ethos of innovation and excellence.
In 1981, he proudly became one of the first exhibitors at the prestigious India International Jewelry Show. It was because of his forward-thinking approach and determination to stay ahead in the industry which led to this bold business move.
Throughout his journey, his motto of sticking to his commitments echoed in every aspect of his work. It was a guiding principle that ensured the success of the coming generations of his family. His dedication to quality and customer satisfaction laid the foundation for a thriving business that we see today.
Today, his legacy lives on, not just in the jewelry he created, but in the values he instilled. His commitment to excellence and his work ethic continue to inspire generations in the jewelry industry and beyond.
At the crossroads
Dr. Suresh Chaudhary, the son of Brij Mohan Ji, stepped into the family business in 1979, armed with an MS degree in Medicine but drawn by the benefits of entrepreneurship. His decision to join the business was a result of the family's belief in the autonomy and potential offered by the business world.
Starting with silver jewelry wholesale, he carved his niche in the industry, sourcing exquisite pieces exclusively from Dhamjur (West Bengal), notably the iconic Chandrahaar( Necklace). Despite facing challenges, such as the separation of brothers, he persevered, driven by his father's values of resilience and dedication.

A significant turning point came with a substantial order of Black Star and Cubic Zircon from the USA, courtesy of a friend. This order, amounting to 100-200kgs of supply each week, highlighted his growing influence and the trust he garnered in the industry.
Today, Dr. Suresh Chaudhary plays a pivotal role in managing the family business, lending his insights and expertise to ensure its continued success. Like his father before him, he remains committed to upholding the values of integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction that have defined the legacy of Brij Jewels.
Beyond the Borders
Adhip Chaudhary, the son of Dr. Suresh, embarked on his journey with a solid educational foundation, earning degrees in CA and MBA in Finance. In 2004, he officially joined Brij Jewels, bringing a fresh perspective and strategic insights to the table. His initiation led to the establishment of Brij Nivesh for exports, aiming to expand the company's global reach.
However, he encountered challenges created by the misalignment between his ethical principles and the unorganized mechanisms prevalent in the jewelry business. Despite this, he remained firm in his commitment to integrity and transparency.
Under esteemed mentors of jewelry industry, he entered exports, learning valuable lessons in hard work, patience, and honesty, shaping his business and life approach.
He remains deeply grateful for the unwavering support of his family, particularly his parents, who gave him decision-making independence and empowered him to chart his course. He acknowledges the spiritual guidance of his wife and the unbiased trust of his friends, who accompanied him on his journey to various exhibitions, improving his experiences and perspectives. Through his leadership, he aims to steer Brij Jewels toward a future defined by excellence, trust, and sustainable business practices.
